Winter Savory Essential Oil, also popularly known as Mountain Savory Essential Oil, is steam distilled from the flowering parts and leaves of the shrubby perennial Satureja montana, native to the warm temperate regions of southern Europe and the Mediterranean. The leaves are greyish green and similar to those of Summer Savory, while the flowers, borne in spiky clusters, are pinky white or pink.

Satureja Montana Oil has contains the powerful constituent Carvacrol, which provides much of its characteristic aroma and makes it one of the most powerful and versatile antioxidant essential oils. Due to the skin-warming sensation, Winter Savory Oil is advised to be properly diluted in the skincare formulations.

REPORTED BENEFITS AND USES
Because of its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antiviral properties, Mountain Savory Essential Oil helps treat various skin conditions such as acne, eczema, fungal infections, skin inflammation, scars, burns and wounds. It actively stimulates the regeneration of new cells and accelerates complete wound healing as well as the restoration of skin defects. Winter Savory Oil also offers optimal care for sensitive, dry and chapped skin.

In aromatherapy, Winter Savory Oil is used especially for insomnia and restlessness. Its muscle-relaxing and anti-hypertensive effects are often used to soothe nervousness and anxiety. Mountain Savoury Oil is also a valuable help with headaches caused by anxiety and similar circumstances.

This comes in a tin with 8 oz of Epsom Salt premixed with essential oil and ready to add to your bath or foot massage. Good for up to 2 baths.

4 oz Cream
Our premium cream blend professionally infused with this pure essential oil. Use like any moisturizing cream.

1 Pump 
One pump of pure essential oil to add to epsom salt, creams, lotions, and carrier oil blends.  This is approximately 30 drops.  This option must include at least one base product, like a lotion base, massage oil base, antiaging base, epsom salt base, etc.
